Message threatening to kill UP CM received on WhatsApp

Lucknow (UP): A case has been registered against a man for threatening to kill Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on WhatsApp, sources said on Tuesday. The message was received on the state police’s text helpline. The police said that a person named Shahid had sent the message on the WhatsApp number of dial-112 helpline. The incident came to light after headquarters station commander Subhash Kumar registered an FIR at the Sushant Golf City police station on Monday.

The police set up several teams to arrest the culprit, besides the cyber cell and surveillance teams are working on the matter. The police said that the culprit would soon be arrested.
