Lucknow: Bulldozer was in the news during the UP Polls. BJP’s Chief Minister candidate Yogi Adityanath used it as its trademark. The BJP propagated it as a symbol of governance, i.e. actions over the illegal properties of the criminals and the development work too. On Friday Samajwadi Party (SP) Chief Akhilesh Yadav hammered the BJP rule by saying, bulldozer has started to crush people.

Verbally attacking the ruling party, Akhilesh Yadav said Inflation is increasing day by day. The government is playing with the lives of people. The government has been insensitive and careless. ‘In a democracy such behavior of the government is inhuman’, he added.

People are upset at the fuel price hike

Yadav said the people are cursing Achche Din, the slogan of the BJP in 2014 parliamentary polls. He said People are upset over rising fuel prices. Toll tax charges were also raised and as a resultantly, traveling on highways turned costly. The price of CNG-PNG has doubled. He remarked, The BJP has made it clear that it has no concern for the public.

Petrol, diesel price continues to rise

Petrol and diesel prices continue to rise regularly. Even on Friday, the rate was hiked by 80 paise/ltr. The opposition is alleging that the price will continue to rise until Rs 25/lt. Prices of petrol and diesel were not increasing during the 5 state polls. After the election results the price started to rise in the amount of on average, 80 paise per liter. It has resulted in the increase of the goods of daily use.
