Lucknow: President of the Samajwadi Party, Akhilesh Yadav, took a jibe at the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday when read reports about a law-maker from Jewar constituency, paddling a bicycle, fell into a ditch on Sunday and sustained injuries.
The injured 55-year-old BJP law-maker Dhirendra Singh has been admitted to a hospital in Greater Noida. His bicycle fell into a water-filled pothole on a road in his constituency. He tweeted in Hindi: “Now, the BJP will say our MLA did not fall into the pothole but had gone deep into it for a detailed study.”

Aside from that, he shared a media report of the incident along with a picture of a potholed road of Singh’s constituency, Jewar, from where he has been elected twice. The BJP legislator has yet to reply to Yadav’s remark.
