Lucknow: The defeat in the Lok Sabha by-elections and criticism from the party have forced the president of the Samajwadi Party Akhilesh to dissolve all state and national organisations of the party.
Yadav tweeted only Sunday that all frontal organisation, women’s wing and cells also stand dissolved. The SP won both the Lok Sabha seats – Rampur and Azamgarh – in 2019. Nevertheless, the party’s state president would remain in the post. According to sources in the party, Akhilesh will soon revamp various party organisations to induct youths.
