Lucknow: Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath has directed the police officers of Meerut division including Gautam Buddh Nagar, to deal a severe blow to illegal liquor and drug sellers, official sources said on Friday. Adityanath also asked the officials to ensure strict action against crooks who bully ordinary people.

The Chief Minister issued directives at a review meeting with top police brass of Meerut zone. He said that the government’s policy for no tolerance against anti-social elements was clear. The state government recently launched stringent measures against the illegal sale of liquor.
