Lucknow (UP): Thirty people sustained severe injuries on Friday morning when a roadways bus carrying over 30 passengers collided with a DCM vehicle on the Lucknow-Bahraich road, the police said. Nearly an hour after the accident, a biker rammed into the bus from behind and died on the spot.

The bus, on its way to Bahraich, collided with the vehicle near Chandanpur village under Ramnagar police station. The driver of the DCM vehicle also suffered serious injuries. Immediately after the accident, the police rushed to the spot and sent the injured to a hospital. Two women were among seven persons who sustained severe injuries, and were rushed to the district hospital.
