If you plan to travel by car vehicle (owned or rental) during the post-coronavirus times:

You can avoid going riding with germs and thus, some precautions can be taken such as cleaning and disinfecting your whole vehicle completely.

You can wipe down all the high touching parts and surfaces with a disinfectant spray or liquid such as you can clean up the seat belts, door handles, controls, windows, etc. If it is not your owned vehicle, you can ask the driver to do the same by requesting him to follow the COVID-19 protocols.

Keep antibacterial wipes and sanitizer in the car so that you can wipe your hands at regular intervals.

It would be advisable to travel with two to three people only along with you. Do not think of taking a crowd of people of relatives or friends in your vehicle. The more social distancing you maintain, the more you are keeping yourself and others safer during your travel period.

Search a list of good restaurants whereby you can stop by to have your meals. Do not eat roadside food and avoid junk food, especially during the travel period. Eating snacks (homecooked or homemade) at regular intervals can help you stay away from acidity or unwanted gas issues in the stomach. Carry extra masks that you can throw and change at regular intervals. At least you should have 4-5 masks with you to wear per day. Either washable or use and throw types. It is important to wear masks even if certain states have been given the option to wear masks on a voluntary basis.

Before you check in at the hotel, make sure the authorities follow COVID-19 guidelines thoroughly. You should look for cleanliness and quality of services more than how many stars it has got on the internet because some of the reviews are usually sponsored. You need to request further information if you are confused about whether the staff there follows COVID-19 protocols or not.
