Travel Desk – The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has introduced a special train called ‘Bharat Gaurav’ to help pilgrims travel from Pune to Prayagraj for the Mahakumbh Mela 2025. This train will run from January 15 to February 23. The service is part of a travel package that includes your train ride, meals, and a place to stay.

The train will stop at spiritual places like Varanasi, Ayodhya, and Prayagraj itself. It will start in Pune and stop at several other cities along the way, making it easy for many people to get on board.

There are different types of tickets available, depending on how much comfort you want:

  • Economy Class (Sleeper): Rs 22,940
  • Standard Class (3AC): Rs 32,440
  • Comfort Class (2AC): Rs 40,130

The Mahakumbh Mela is a very important religious festival that happens every 12 years. The next one in 2025 will start on January 29 in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. It’s a major event where many people come to bathe at the sacred meeting point of rivers, which they believe will cleanse them spiritually.
