Afghanistan is usually considered to be an uncertain country considering the kind of controversies and activities that gets reported from the place. Since the Taliban is taking over Kabul, they have shut the embassies and they are bringing their citizens back home. A lot of changes are expected to take place in the country and the history that we have been knowing of the country will take a new turn in the future. 1) Gardens of Babur is located in Kabul. It has been developed around 1528 AD and the lovely garden is said to be an awesome place to understand the history of Afghanistan. The garden has a unique look every season, however, the site has varied from how it looked earlier.
2) Buddhas of Bamiyan hold significant recognition even in today’s times. Although the structures were destructed by the Taliban in 2001, one cannot deny the fact that the huge structures of Gautama Buddha that were carved in the 6th century had a whole of wonderful mural paintings.
3) Darul Aman Palace is one of the beautiful palaces that were devastated due to war. After making renovations recently, the palace seems to try getting its presence back. Built in the 1920s, the palace has a total of 150 rooms and is one of the first buildings to have central heating and running water.
4) Herat Citadel is one of the fantastic places that will help understand the rich cultural heritage and history of Afghanistan. It was renovated a decade back.
