Kashi Vishwanath Temple

One of the sacred spots in Uttarkashi is Sri Kashi Vishwanath Temple. The temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is set on the banks of the Bhagirathi river and holds immense religious significance.
Barsu Village

Kuteti Devi

Dedicated to Goddess Kuteti Devi, a form of Goddess Durga, the temple is set on Hari Parvat hilltop. It is believed that the temple was built by the son-in-law and daughter of Maharaja Kota.
Maneri Dam

Maneri is constructed on the Bhagirathi river. This Uttarkashi dam diverts the water into a big tunnel. There is a power station, a part of the Maneri Bhali Hydroelectric Project planned in the 1960s.
Sangam Chatti

This small but scenic trail will take you inside the green valleys. The trail is defined by green potato fields, small villages and gushing mountain streams.
