We all are going through the toughest times of our lives. Children are no longer happily enjoying their lockdown schools and uncertainty over exams and assessments, office-goers are hating to report to their managers from their homes as it disrupts their everyday personal routine, elderly are bored when they are asked to stay back home and not risk their lives. Yes, the coronavirus vaccination has come in India in the last 3 months and we all thought it would be a larger step towards the end of the pandemic, however, the second wave started emerging in March 2021 making things worse than how it was last year.
So, if you have not yet taken the vaccines, remember to take both the doses of Indian-made vaccines. And after vaccination, if you are thinking that now you are fully protected to walk out freely, then sorry dear, you are mistaken as it is essential to wear a mask properly and maintain social distancing in case you are traveling after vaccination.
Even after getting the two shots of vaccination, you are likely to get reinfected with the COVID-19 or there are chances that you may be an asymptomatic COVID-19 patient who can transmit the virus to someone else and spoil their lives. Hence, you should definitely wear a mask because vaccination doesn’t mean you have got the freedom from the deadly virus.
Now since the cases of coronavirus are rising like anything, the government has made it mandatory to take an RT-PCR test before you decide to travel to a particular place outside your city. Even if you have the certificates of taking both doses of vaccines, the RT-PCR test is compulsory so that you don’t turn out to be a possible spreader of the virus. The new variants of the virus have created a lot of chaos in people’s lives, so don’t take things lightly and practice all the protocols that have been directed and updated by the government from time to time. Vaccination is definitely a form of protection but it doesn’t guarantee you a 100% safeguard from the virus. So, it is advised that you decide to travel outside only during an emergency and not for leisure. Stay home, stay safe and save the lives of your loved ones and others.
