As per Etihad Airways, international passengers who are arriving at Abu Dhabi airport have to compulsorily wear a COVID-19 tracking device and finish a 14-day home quarantine.
This is to ensure that the deadly coronavirus disease is curbed and not spread among many anymore.
In the UAE, daily records of coronavirus cases have increased this month like anything.
Officials think that the reason is people failing to follow social distancing and other precautionary measures.
Hence, Etihad Airways has come up with the rule of making sure that travellers arriving at Abu Dhabi airport wear a medically approved wristband, which will be removed after the 14-days of home quarantine.
People who are coming from countries with huge number of coronavirus cases will have to quarantine in a government facility, as per the company.
