Digital medium is ruling the world in the unprecedented coronavirus times.
As everything is going online, messaging giant WhatsApp has plans to come up with an amazing feature called Disappearing Messages.
As per a report, the company that is owned by Facebook, has plans to come up with an update, which will allow users to enable the feature of Disappearing Messages whenever they want.
Once you enable the Disappearing Messages feature, all the new messages will expire after a period of seven days or one week.
There is not much clarity if there can be a time set of when you want the messages to disappear.
As per Wabetainfo’s claims, “When you reply to a message, the initial message is quoted. If you reply to a disappearing message, the quoted text might remain in the chat after seven days. If a disappearing message is forwarded to a chat with disappearing messages off, the message won’t disappear in the forwarded chat.”
It is also being reported that in case you backup your chats before they disappear, you can also access them on Google drive.
