Facebook introduces new app CatchUp

World’s largest social network Facebook has launched a new app called CatchUp.

The app has been developed by a new product experimentation team of Facebook and promises to provide users to get the benefit of audio calls with up to 8 members at the same time.

The app is right now being tested in the US and is subject for further changes depending on the benefit it provides to users.

CatchUp will allow the feature of knowing if other members are available to talk. It is also a platform that provides only audio-calling facility.

It shall also offer a ‘Ready to Talk’ feature and second section named ‘Offline’, which shows if users are not available to get on a call at the moment.

Also, to be a member of the new app, having an account with Facebook or any of its related products, is not going to be essential.
