The ICC T20 World Cup’s new visual identity has given the pinnacle of international T20 cricket a vibrant makeover. According to an ICC statement released on Thursday, this international cricket spectacle, which is well-known for its quick-packed action and thrilling moments, will now be portrayed by a dynamic brand identity that embodies the spirit of the game’s unrelenting energy.
The logo represents the fundamental components of international T20 cricket and is a creative fusion of bat, ball, and energy. Dynamically, the T20 lettering becomes a swinging “bat” contained in a dynamic “ball.”.
For each World Cup edition, the host nation’s texture and patterns will be incorporated into the brand identity to give it an even more distinctive touch. For the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, where 20 teams will compete over 55 matches in June of that year, this tactic starts with a distinctive design that honors both the American “stripes” and the palm trees of the West Indies. In addition, Bangladesh will host the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in September and October of the following year.
