New Delhi: Left-arm star spinner Pragyan Ojha has announced his retirement from all formats of cricket. The spinner announced his retirement from international and domestic cricket in a sentimental message on social media on Friday in an emotional message.

Ojha played his last first-class match for Bihar in November 2018, besides playing for Hyderabad and Bengal. Ojha made his debut for India against Bangladesh during the Asia Cup in 2008 and also made his T20 International debut in June 2009 against the same team. Ojha made his Test debut against Sri Lanka in November 2009.

Ojha, 33, announced her retirement on Twitter, saying that now is the time to move towards the next stage of life. Ojha has thanked many great players for his love and support during his 14 years long career, from fans to Hyderabad Cricket Association and Sourav Ganguly to VVS Laxman and Harbhajan Singh.

Describing his most memorable cricket moment, Ojha wrote that getting a Test Test cap from Sachin Tendulkar and taking 100 Test wickets were among the most memorable moments of his career.
