Russian tennis star and former world number one Maria Sharapova retired from tennis at the age of 32. Five-time Grand Slam champion Sharapova decided to quit tennis on Wednesday. Maria has been named number one on the list of longest female tennis players. Due to the height, they used to get benefit in fast service, so sometimes they had to bear the loss.

At the age of 17, Maria Sharapova became Wimbledon champion. In 2008, he won the Australian Open title. At the same time, in 2012 and 2014, they won the title of French Open.

From 2003 to 2015, Sharapova holds the record for winning at least one singles title every year. Sharapova said in an article in the magazine ‘Vogue’ and ‘Vanity Fair’, I am calling tennis – I am goodbye. After 28 years and five Grand Slam titles, I decided to quit tennis.
