Mumbai: The number of people infected with the corona virus has reached 60 across the country. Maharashtra is also not untouched by this. 10 positive cases from Corona have been reported in the state. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said that eight of the new cases of the disease are from Pune and two from Mumbai. The threat of corona virus is also hovering over the Indian Premier League. State Health Minister Rajesh Tope has also said that in these circumstances, the state government may have to take big decisions regarding IPL.
Tope said on Wednesday that the government has only two options in view of the Corona virus in the state – postponing IPL matches or keeping them restricted to TV viewers. That is, spectators will not be allowed to go to the ground in the matches to be held in Maharashtra. That is, people will be able to watch the competition only on TV.
Tope’s statement came on a day when the number of such cases in Maharashtra has now increased to 10. He said that the government can either postpone IPL matches or restrict them to television audiences.
