The danger of corona virus spreading from China is now looming all over the world. This dangerous virus is spoiling the health of people as well as spoiling the socio-economic environment. The economies of countries around the world are beginning to have this adverse effect and the world of sports is also being affected. In addition to the Olympic Games in the year 2020, Olympic qualifiers, Formula 1 races, badminton, tennis, including many major tournaments are in danger of being canceled. Many countries that have been affected by this virus have even canceled many tournaments held in their homes.

This year, the Olympic Games, which are considered to be the great pillars of the Games, are to be held in Japan. Corona has knocked in Japan and now the Olympic Games is also under threat due to this dangerous virus. ‘Senior International Olympic Committee’ member Dick Pound recently said that if the virus shows up by May, then the Olympic Games will be canceled. However, the Japanese government later clarified that Pound’s remarks were not official comments of the International Olympic Federation (IOC). The training for these games of 80,000 volunteers has been pushed forward two months.

The World Athletics Indoor Championship was scheduled to be held from March 13 to 15 in the Nanjing City of Jiangsu, China’s eastern state, which is now deferred until 2021. The marathon race in Pyongyang, North Korea, in April has been canceled. Similarly, South Korea has also declared the marathon in Seoul canceled.

All Olympic Olympic qualifying events, including the German Open (3–8 March), Vietnam Open (24–29 March) and Polish Open (26–29 March) were canceled.

The match between China and Romania in the Davis Cup on March 6 and 7 was canceled as the men’s team of China expressed inability to go there.

The Olympic Boxing Qualifiers to be held in Wuhan were canceled by the International Olympic Committee and transferred to Amman. Now this tournament will be held from 3 to 11 March. – The Japanese Boxing Commission has canceled all boxing fights to be held in March on the advice of the government. This year they will not be held again.

The Chinese Football Association has canceled all home matches here. – The Korea K-League season has been postponed until April. – The Japan J-League has also postponed all their home matches to be held by mid-March. – The friendly match between England and Italy to be held in March is also under threat. It is to be played at Wembley Stadium. – Italy has postponed the five matches of its Series A football to be held till May.
