Cape Town: A superb innings by David Warner and Aaron Finch helped Australia beat South Africa by 97 runs in the third and final T20 International cricket match to win the three-match series 2-1. This is seven runs more than South Africa’s minimum score in Johannesburg. Left-arm fast bowler Mitchell Starc bowled De Cock in the first over. He then sent former captain Faf du Plessis to the pavilion and took three wickets for 23 runs. He was voted Man of the Match.
Spinner Ashton Egger took three for 16 and Adam Jampa took two for ten. Only four batsmen from South Africa reached double digits, with Rossi van der Dussen scoring the highest 24 runs.
