New Delhi: The political war of words has started gaining momentum in Uttar Pradesh regarding the assembly elections to be held next year. In this war, All India Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi has said that he will not allow Yogi to become the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh in 2022.
Responding to this statement of Owaisi, CM Yogi Adityanath said, ‘Owaisi is a big leader of our country. If he has challenged BJP in the 2022 assembly elections, then BJP workers accept his challenge. There is no doubt that BJP will again form the government in UP in 2022. We will win more than 300 seats. Only BJP government will be formed in UP. Owaisi has his own party and he will fight on his issues, whereas we will fight on our issues.
Significantly, the AIMIM has announced to field its candidates for 100 seats in the UP assembly elections. AIMIM has tied up with Om Prakash Rajbhar-led Bhagidari Sankalp Morcha (BSM) for the UP assembly elections. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see whether Owaisi’s condition will be like Bihar or Bengal.
