New Delhi: National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah’s stern action on the appreciation of Pakistan by declaring the declaration of six political parties united against the Centre’s move to abolish most of the provisions of Article 370 of the Constitution giving special status to Jammu and Kashmir. Reacting that they are not puppets of anyone’s hands.
Abdullah said, “Pakistan has always insulted the mainstream political parties of Jammu and Kashmir but now suddenly they like us.” In fact, Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi recently gave a statement that The Declaration issued by the National Conference, PDP, Congress and three other parties is “not an ordinary incident, but an important development”.
The former Chief Minister said this while reacting to this. Talking to Srinagar, he said, “Let me make it clear that we are not a puppet in the hands of anyone, neither in New Delhi nor anyone across the border.” We are accountable to the people of Jammu and Kashmir and will work for them. “
