Kolkata: As the days of assembly elections in the state are getting shorter, the leaders are getting increasingly attacked and sharp. Shubhendu Adhikari, who left the Trinamool Congress and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party, has called the biggest attack on party chief and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee so far. At the rally held in Kolkata, he said, “In the upcoming assembly elections, he will defeat Mamata Banerjee with more than 50 thousand votes in Nandigram seat, I will quit politics if it does not happen.”
It is to be known that Mamta Banerjee announced to contest the upcoming assembly elections in Nandigram seat in Nandigram rally. She said, “If possible, I will contest from both Bhawanipur and Nandigram. TMC will win more than 200 seats in the upcoming assembly elections. ” Nandigram seat is the traditional seat of Shubhendu Adhikari.
