Lucknow: Vikas Dubey, the main accused in the Kanpur encounter, was killed in the encounter today. Leader of the Opposition has started questioning Vikas Dubey’s encounter. Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati has demanded a fair probe into the Vikas Dubey encounter case under the supervision of the Supreme Court.
Mayawati today tweeted, “All cases related to the Kanpur police murder case, as well as all the cases of overturning of the police car and killing him by the UP police, while bringing its main accused notorious Vikas Dubey from Madhya Pradesh to Kanpur. There should be a fair inquiry under the supervision of the Honorable Supreme Court. ”
In another tweet, Mayawati said, “This high-level investigation is also necessary so that the family of 8 policemen who were killed in the Kanpur massacre can get the right justice.” Also, the nexus between police and criminal political elements can also be identified and punished with strict punishment. Only with such steps can UP become crime-free. ”
