The appointments made by the Narendra Modi government in educational and cultural institutions in the recent past are mostly those involving the RSS. These appointments include important posts like Indian Institute of Mass Communications (IIMC) and Prasar Bharati chief. People belonging to the RSS have also been given priority positions in the Indira Gandhi National Center for Arts, Lalit Kala Academy and Center for Cultural Resource and Training, under the Ministry of Culture.
Congress leader Gaurav Vallabh has questioned these allegations and stated in a statement that “Appointments in all these institutions should be on merit.” Are these people eligible for these posts or not? If there is an unqualified person then it is normal that they will be operated by remote control. It is clear that now these institutions will be controlled by BJP as well as Nagpur Institute (RSS). ”
Jagdish Upasane, chairperson of Prasar Bharati Recruitment Board, has been elected. Please tell that Jagdish Upasane, director of Bharat Prakashan, has also been the Vice Chancellor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Mass Communication before this. When Kamal Nath’s government came to power in Madhya Pradesh, Jagdish Upasane resigned from his post. Upasane has previously been the editor of the RSS mouthpiece Organizer and Panchajanya.
