New Delhi. Aurangabad Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) president Sharad Pawar claimed during the election rally that the people of Maharashtra now want change. Pawar, addressing an election rally in Gevaraye in Beed district on Saturday, said that he toured across the state and spoke to people after which he can say that people here now want change.
He said that the people of the state are well aware of what they have done for Maharashtra. Pawar said, “People of the state know very well what I have done for Maharashtra. Bharatiya Janata Party President Amit Shah is still new in politics. He said that Shah’s party knows well that he is going to lose this election.
He said that the BJP was raising the issue of removing Article 370 to divert attention from unemployment and other sensitive issues. It is noteworthy that Assembly elections are due in Maharashtra on October 21 and in the last days of campaigning all parties are putting their full force.
