New Delhi: Kamal Nath government has suffered a major setback in Madhya Pradesh. On Thursday evening, Madhya Pradesh Congress MLA Hardeep Singh Dang has resigned from the post of Member of Legislative Assembly.
This resignation came at a time when Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath said on Tuesday that there is no threat to his government nor does anyone need to worry about it. According to media reports, Hardeep Singh is said to be one of the four missing MLAs whose disappearance was revealed.
His remarks came a day after senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh alleged that BJP leaders were offering huge sums of money to Congress MLAs to topple the state government.
Kamal Nath had said in response to a question that the Congress MLAs had provided information to the BJP leaders about the proposal to give them money. The Chief Minister said on the sidelines of a program in Bhopal – MLAs told me that they have received a proposal to give a lot of money, I have asked the MLAs to take this money if they are getting it for free.
