New Delhi: On the allegations of corruption against Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar said on Sunday that the allegations made on the Home Minister are serious and action against him is to be taken by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and on that matter a decision will be taken after negotiating in a day or two.
Pawar said on the letter with allegations of former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh that ‘the letter asked to recover 100 crores. Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh did not write anywhere in the letter whether the money has been given? With this, Pawar said that ‘Now the government removed Parambir Singh from CP and sent him to the Home Guard, he made serious allegations. Why did he not say this when he was in the post of CP. I will speak to the Chief Minister myself and tell him that serious allegations have been made against the Home Minister, so an inquiry should be conducted with an officer whose loyalty is good, ” he said.
Sharad Pawar also said that ‘it is their right to demand the opposition, but there is no danger to the government. It will not have any effect on the government. We will talk to the Chief Minister on Anil Deshmukh. We will talk to the party people and also talk to Anil Deshmukh about what he has to say. Tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, we will take a decision on Deshmukh.
