News Desk – Early Tuesday morning, a serious train accident happened near Chakradharpur in Jharkhand. The Mumbai-Howrah Mail, a passenger train, derailed with 18 of its coaches coming off the tracks. This accident caused the death of two people and injured 20 others. It occurred around 3:45 AM near a place called Badabamboo.
The local government official, Deputy Commissioner Kuldeep Chaudhary, confirmed what happened and said that rescue teams are currently working at the site to help those affected. Teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) are also on their way.
Because of this derailment, several other train services in the area have been disrupted. Some trains scheduled for the next day have been canceled, and others will start or finish their journeys at different stations.
Authorities are now focusing on helping those injured and clearing the tracks. They are also trying to find out why the derailment happened.
