A 100-day plan was presented at the strategic meeting with the goal of implementing urgent measures as soon as the new government is formed in May 2024.

On Sunday, Prime Minister Modi and his ministerial colleagues met to deliberate over the comprehensive plan outlining India’s transition to a developed country by 2047. Government sources state that the comprehensive plan called Viksit Bharat involved all ministries representing the Modi government and presented their ideas.

According to government sources, the strategic meeting, which took place a few days prior to the Model Code of Conduct going into effect, set forth a 100-day agenda aimed at the prompt implementation of immediate measures after the new government is formed in May 2024. Numerous state governments, academic institutions, business associations, civil society organizations, scientific associations, and young people actively participated in the planning process. The extensive process involved more than 27,00 meetings over the course of two years, as well as workshops and seminars held at various levels to gather feedback from over twenty lakh young people.

According to government sources, the Viksit Bharat roadmap is a comprehensive plan that outlines the country’s aspirations, goals, actions, and vision in clear terms. The plan’s objectives cover a wide range of topics such as social welfare, infrastructure, economic growth, the Sustainable Development Goals, and ease of living and doing business.

 According to sources, the goal of Viksit Bharat is to establish India as a major economic force in the world while emphasizing sustainable development and raising the standard of living for all of its people. The roadmap outlines particular tactics to deal with important issues and take advantage of the opportunity in several industries.

The best moments of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 12-hour meeting with his Council of Ministers on Sunday included a vision document for Viksit Bharat 2047. They discussed the documents and plan of action in case the NDA government led by Prime Minister Modi were to win back power three times following the Lok Sabha Elections. 

Prior to the meeting, Prime Minister Modi declared on X that he had given the BJP Rs. 2000 as a party fund in order to advance his Viksit Bharat plan ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. I am glad to support BJP India and bolster our initiative to create a Viksit Bharat. He tweeted along with a receipt for his donation, saying I also urge everybody to be active participants in donations for nation-building through the NaMoApp.

In the upcoming elections, the Prime Minister has stated repeatedly that his government will return to power for a third term in a row. The ruling NDA alliance has set a target of gaining over 400 seats, while the BKP has a target of 370 seats.
