According to the sources, Priyanka’s name for Rajya Sabha may surprise everyone in the political circles. Congress is planning to send Priyanka to Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan. The Rajya Sabha elections on 4 seats to be held in Rajasthan; which are currently occupied by the BJP. The tenure of BJP’s Om Prakash Mathur, KJ Alphons, Ramkumar Verma, and Harshvardhan Singh will end on July 4.
The math of 3 out of 4 seats is almost clear. 2 seats seem to be coming in the account of Congress and 1 BJP. The exciting contest will be for the fourth seat.
Apart from Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the high command is also considering the name of Robert Vadra for Rajya Sabha. He had recently expressed his desire to enter politics. However, Robert Vadra can also be given a chance from Chhattisgarh where elections for two seats are scheduled. Here, among the Congress candidates from Rajasthan, former Finance and Home Minister P. Chidambaram is also considered a strong contender. Talking about local leaders, the name of Gujarat in-charge Raghu Sharma is also involved in the race.

BJP is working on a strategy to field two candidates
According to the numbers, BJP will be able to save only one seat, but the party is working on the strategy of fielding two candidates, as the maths of the fourth seat is not clear yet.
