News Desk – Prime Minister Narendra Modi is starting India’s first Vande Metro train service in Gujarat. This train will connect Ahmedabad to Bhuj, starting on September 17th from Ahmedabad and September 18th from Bhuj.
Train Schedule and Ticket Prices
- The train leaves Ahmedabad at 5:30 PM and arrives in Bhuj at 11:10 PM. It does not run on Saturdays.
- From Bhuj, it departs at 5:05 AM and reaches Ahmedabad at 10:50 AM. It does not run on Sundays.
- The train stops at nine different stations, and a ticket costs Rs 455.
Features of the Vande Metro Train
- It has 12 coaches with air conditioning.
- The doors open and close by themselves.
- Inside, there are toilets, lights, places to charge phones, and cameras for safety.
- It has special technology to prevent accidents and systems to quickly detect and stop fires.
- It can go as fast as 110 km per hour and covers the distance of 360 km in about 5 hours and 45 minutes.
- The train is designed to be accessible to everyone, including those with disabilities, and it offers food services.
