Tribute to Bhagat Singh in Delhi School Curriculum: Kejriwal

On India’s 75th Independence Day, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal stated that the ‘Deshbhakti‘ curriculum would be handed out in Delhi government schools as a homage to freedom fighter Bhagat Singh.

He added that starting September 27, Deshbhakti would run its curriculum and inspire every kid to feel proud. Kejriwal said it would also prepare kids for the nation to offer all theirs. At the Delhi Secretariat, the Chief Minister hung the national flag on Independence Day. He also announced the beginning of yoga lessons on October 2 at the halls and parks in Delhi.

“Delhi gave the whole world yoga, but it is now extinguishing. Apart from the June 21 commemoration of International Yoga Day, not much is occurring for Yoga every year. We will start yoga lessons and prepare a large staff of yoga teachers and teachers. We will be supplied with yoga teachers by 30-40 members who wish to study Yoga, “He added Kejriwal.

The Chief Minister stated that the curriculum for Deshbhakti is going to assist people in realizing the dreams of the independent warriors, and the Independence Day celebrations would be no longer just symbolic in schools. The government has devoted itself entirely to celebrating the independence spirit every day and learned immensely in building the curriculum.

“We couldn’t foresee how it would be, and how it would happen when we began working on the Deshbhakti curriculum two years ago. It is a process that is dynamic and continually changing. During its pilot, we learned a great deal and continue to learn more in time. We must also carefully carry out the evaluation. We must objectively evaluate if the patriotic emotions are truly taught in the brains of our children while taking into account our anecdotal experiences”.
