After their November 29th wedding in Imphal, Manipur, Bollywood stars Lin Laishram and Randeep Hooda landed in Mumbai and made their first public appearance at the airport there.
Randeep wore a simple all-white outfit, but his wife Lin stood out in a traditional red salwar suit. They held hands and posed for the photographers as they walked towards their car at Mumbai Airport.
The two seemed to be having a blast as they grinned for the cameras. The pair exchanged vows before close friends and family in a modest ceremony that adhered to Meitei traditions. Before the wedding, Randeep had expressed his joy at getting married following Laishram’s Meitei traditions.
The two seemed to be having a blast as they grinned for the cameras. In a modest ceremony that adhered to Meitei traditions, the couple exchanged vows in the presence of close friends and family.
The pair said their vows at the Shannapung resort. Lin, Randeep’s bride, looked breathtaking in a saree of white and pink with a black top. Randeep, clad in a white kurta-pyjama, performed the rites. Her look was topped off with exquisite gold jewellery. For an extended period, Lin and Randeep had a love relationship.
Lin has been in many films, including “Mary Kom,” “Rangoon,” and most recently, “Jaane Jaan.” Randeep appeared in his last episode of Sergeant. His next directorial debut, “Swatantrya Veer Savarkar,” is much anticipated.
“We are getting married with the blessings of our family and friends, emulating Arjuna’s marriage to Manipuri Warrior Princess Chitrangada in the Mahabharata,” Randeep and Lin announced on Instagram. We beg for your blessings and love as we embark on this journey together, for we will be eternally grateful for this union of cultures. Randeep also said that a reception in Mumbai is planned later.
The newlyweds shared entrancing glimpses from their wedding day on their official Instagram pages. Sharing a sequence of photographs with the caption “From today we are one (heart and infinity sign),” they did so. Randeep sported a white kurta and a shawl almost identical to the wedding. On the other hand, Lin looked like she had walked out of a fairy tale in her traditional wedding dress, the Potloi, which included a cylindrical skirt made of sturdy bamboo and cotton.
Randeep officially announced their relationship last year around Diwali by sharing an Instagram snapshot of the two of them. Since then, they’ve shared images on special occasions to express their appreciation for one another openly. Randeep and Lin sought blessings at the Imphal temples of Shri Shri Govindajee and Ipudhou Marjing Khubamlen before their wedding. The actor said he was the only prominent person there, and when asked about the other guests, he spoke about wanting a peaceful existence with his wife and no war in Manipur.
Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram were wed in a traditional Meitei ceremony in Imphal at the Chumthang Shannapung resort. There were members of their close social and familial networks there.
