Members of the Congress have turned down the invitation, according to BJP leader Tejasvi Surya, because devotees recite the Hanuman Chalisa to ward off evil spirits. Congress will always choose Babur over Lord Ram, so it is a good thing they declined to attend the Ram Mandir consecration ceremony on January 22. Their presence would have marred the occasion, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma continued, criticizing the Congress. Himanta spearheaded the assault on Congress earlier as well, claiming that they missed a chance to atone for their previous transgressions. He said that the Congressmen had no business being invited to the function in the first place.

Himanta posted a 2005 picture of Rahul Gandhi at the Babur Tomb in Kabul, Afghanistan, on X, the platform that was formerly known as Twitter. The Congress declared that Sonia Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury would not be attending the January 22 event, branding it a BJP/RSS event designed to garner electoral gains. Party president Mallikarjun Kharge stated that those who practice faith are welcome to visit the temple either today or tomorrow, stressing that the BJP’s plot is the subject of controversy. The Congress will submit to Babur instead of Ram Lalla. They were given a chance to atone for their sins by the VHP. How could they assist the Congress any further? Reducing their sins is not what they desire. All of them, from Nehru to Rahul Gandhi, visited the Babur Tomb, according to Himanta.

In a similar vein, BJP leader Tejasvi Surya stated on Friday that the Congress leaders turned down the invitation to the Ram temple because the followers have been reciting the Hanuman Chalisa, which wards off evil spirits. I asked one of our employees in Bihar why he thought leaders of the “Ghamandia” were declining invitations to the event on January 22. According to the worker, devotees recite the verse “Bhoot pishaach niikat nahi aaave, Mahaviir jab naam sunave,” which means that evil spirits flee at the mention of Hanuman, who is also referred to as Mahavir. Tejasvi said.

The invitation to witness the ‘Pran Pratistha’ ceremony of Lord Ram’s idol and the January 22 opening of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya was turned down by the Congress on Wednesday. Congressmen have expressed concerns about the politicization of the consecration ceremony for the Ram Temple in the interim. Congress MP Imran Pratapgarhi defended his party’s choice by stating that visiting a mosque or temple is a matter of personal devotion. Why does the BJP wish to use it as a political platform? In actuality, what is repulsive about the BJP is the politics it practices. According to Pratapgarhi, the BJP’s most repulsive political tactic is to politicize people’s religious beliefs.
