Congress chief Vikramaditya Singh, who stepped down as a Himachal Pradesh minister and spoke about being discontent with the party, went to Chandigarh and met the 6 rising MLAs who have been disqualified for go-voting in favor of the BJP in the Rajya Sabha election as per sources. One of the MLAs he met is the Congress Disqualified MLA.

The MLAs whose go-voting brought on the shock defeat of Congress candidate Abhishek Manu Singhvi have been disqualified on Thursday. They now plan to move to the High Court to check their disqualification.

The “political controversy” in the Congress authorities in Himachal Pradesh appears yet to be over as Cabinet minister Vikramaditya Singh, who too raised a “banner of rise up” against Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, on Friday reached Delhi after meeting rebellion MLAs in Chandigarh.
