It is worth noting that the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, TRAI has drawn up a comprehensive 5G spectrum auction plan worth over Rs 7.5 lakh crore, which includes the base price for radio waves across multiple bands. The Telecom Minister said that the Digital Communications Commission will take a final call on the recommendations of TRAI.

It is worth noting that earlier this year reports had said that the auction of 5G spectrum would be held in May this year. However, there was a slight delay after which the regulatory body submitted its recommendations earlier this month.
