On February 13, farmers will march to Delhi under the banners of the Samyukta Kisan Morcha and the Kisan Mazdoor Morcha, supported by more than 200 farm unions. Their goal is to pressure the Center into granting their demands, which include passing legislation ensuring a minimum support price (MSP) for crops. The farmers, who are mostly from Punjab and Haryana, are anticipated to depart for Delhi on Monday in advance of the demonstration. In the nation’s capital, as well as along the borders between them. In accordance with Section 144 of the CPC, the Haryana government has also issued prohibitory orders that forbid gatherings of five or more people.

Today, farmer leaders are anticipated to meet with three union ministers. Sarwan Singh Pandher, a farmer leader, announced on Sunday that Piyush Goyal, Arjuna Munda, and Nityanand Rai would arrive in Chandigarh on February 12 to hold talks with the farmer’s Chalo Delhi march set for February 13. The Delhi Police warned commuters on Sunday about vehicle movement restrictions at three of the national capital’s borders.

The advisory states that commercial vehicles will be subjected to traffic restrictions and diversions starting on Monday, and all other vehicles will be subjected to them starting on Tuesday. Interstate buses that usually head north on NH-44 to places like Sonipat, Panipat, and Karnal will be diverted via the KMP Expressway via Khekra, ISBT, Majnu Ka Tilla, Signature Bridge, Khajuri Chowk, and Loni Border. It is recommended that heavy goods vehicles traveling via NH-44 to the same Northern cities take exit number 2 in order to reach the Auchandi Border and then continue via Saidpur Chowki to the KMP Expressway.

It was advised that vehicles wishing to travel to Bahadurgarh, Rohtak, and other locations should exit at exit number two of the DSIIDC, cut towards Bawara Road, travel to Kanjhawala T-point, travel via Dr. Sahib Singh Verma Road, arrive at Kanjhawala Chowk, and then take a right at the Nizampur Border via Sawda Village to reach Bahadurgarh Connection NH-9.

Sarvan Singh Pandher, the general secretary of the Punjab Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee, stated that the demands of farmers had not been met for 75 years, and he urged the central government to take action.

We will travel to Beas and remain at Fathehgarh Sahib. We continue to demand the same things: the MSP guarantee law and the union of sugar cane and C200. The Indian farmer is unfortunate to be labeled as anti-national. Since we are this nation’s citizens, we are not anti-national. Our requests were ignored for 75 years. He mentioned that  We will do everything in a peaceful way, and our aim is for the government to give importance to our demands.
