The senior industrialist Ratan Tata is now closely guarded by the Mumbai Police after a threat call. The former chairman of Tata Sons, Cyrus Mistry, died in a car crash on September 4, 2022, and an anonymous caller threatened Tata with the same fate.

After officials tracked down a guy with a Master of Business Administration degree from Pune and a schizophrenia diagnosis, they found him in Karnataka. The police were helped locating the spot by telecom and technical service companies.

Upon reaching the caller’s residence, they discovered that he had been absent for five days. He had been reported missing to the police by his wife.

After initiating the preliminary inquiry, the caller’s schizophrenia diagnosis was uncovered by the police. Since the caller was suffering from a mental illness, the authorities were understanding and decided against taking legal action, even after the first threat.

As they reached the accused’s residence in the Bhosari district of Pune, they discovered that he had already disappeared. We were able to pinpoint his position in Karnataka by following the IP address. Reviewing his medical history revealed that he was experiencing symptoms of schizophrenia, which contributed to his anxiety. This led to his being apprehended by the Pune police. He should not be allowed to use a phone, his family was informed.

The Mumbai Police have dealt with many threats made against rich people; after identifying the callers, it was found that they were suffering from schizophrenia.

The call immediately alerted the Mumbai Police, who went into high gear. While one team looked into the caller, another was responsible for keeping Ratan Tata safe. The cops tracked down the caller in Karnataka with the assistance of a telephone provider and their technical support. It was revealed that he lived in Pune.

The caller was eventually identified at his flat in Pune after the police spent five days seeking. To file a complaint, his wife had visited the Bhosari police station in the city. Following interrogation of the caller’s family, the police learned that he suffered from schizophrenia and had previously taken the phone in question in secret. After calling the Mumbai Police control center, the person made threats to Ratan Tata over the phone.

Due to the caller’s schizophrenia, the police decided not to prosecute charges. The caller also said that they had an engineering background and an MBA in finance. Rest assured, Ratan Tata is safe, since the Mumbai crime branch has effectively completed the issue. It is clear from this tragedy how important it is to bring attention to mental health and how important it is to help those who are struggling with mental health concerns.

Police were informed about the caller’s history of schizophrenia by the person’s family. Since the person had a history of schizophrenia, the authorities decided not to prosecute him. Authorities said the caller had a history in engineering and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance.
