NewDelhi: BJP has put an end to all the rumors about the Chief Ministers’ name in Himachal Pradesh where elections are to be held in this year. BJP’s national President Jagat Prakash Nadda today confirmed the name of JaiRam Thakur as the CM face in the upcoming assembly elections. Ending the suspense on Sunday, JP Nadda said that the party would contest the assembly elections on the face of Jai Ram Thakur. Not only this, he also said that due care will be taken in ticket distribution conforming to the winnability of the seat.
JP Nadda said that the double engine government has done many development works in Himachal. He said that earlier jam in Shimla was a big problem. But now solving this problem, the roads of Shimla are being widened. Nadda said that

JP Nadda said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a rally in Himachal from June 25 to 30. He also said that more than one lakh youth workers will likely to participate in this rally. Please tell that JP Nadda is in Shimla on Sunday. On the occasion of Ram Navami, he also offered prayers at the Jakhu temple in Shimla. Assembly elections are due in December this year in Himachal Pradesh. There are 68 assembly seats in the state. Out of this, 48 are general seats. While 17 are reserved for Scheduled Castes and 3 for Scheduled Castes.

Earlier on April 9, Aam Aadmi Party’s Himachal Pradesh President Anoop Kesari, Organization General Secretary Satish Thakur and Una’s President Iqbal Singh had joined the BJP. Anoop Kesari, Satish Thakur and Iqbal Singh had joined BJP in presence of Anurag Thakur at JP Nadda’s residence. During this, Union Minister Anurag Thakur had said that the people of Himachal never tolerate their humiliation, so all the three leaders of AAP have joined BJP for themselves and for the self-respect of Himachal.
Both the BJP leaders JP Nadda and Anurag Thakur come from Himachal, so they want to leave no stone unturned to retain the power in the state.
