NationalBengaluru Techie's Death Sparks Controversy; Wife and Family Under Scrutiny

Date:

News Desk – Nikita Singhania is being looked at closely after her husband, Atul Subhash, a tech worker in Bengaluru, died by suicide. In his suicide note, Atul blamed Nikita, some of her family members, and a family court judge for making him so upset that he took his own life.

Nikita works at Accenture in Delhi as a senior AI engineering consultant. She and Atul got married in April 2019 after meeting through a matchmaking website and had a son in 2020. But after some disagreements, Nikita left their home in Bengaluru with their son in 2021.

Their problems led to many legal cases. Nikita accused Atul and his family of mistreating her and demanding more dowry. She said Atul took her salary and physically hurt her.

In his note, Atul denied these claims. He said the accusations were like a bad movie plot and questioned why there was no proof of the abuse he was accused of.

The situation got worse when Nikita and her family reportedly asked Atul for a lot of money to solve their legal issues and to let him see their son, which Atul said made his life very hard.

After Atul’s death, his brother filed a legal complaint against Nikita and three of her family members, blaming them for helping cause Atul’s death.

As more people find out about this case, Nikita’s family said they are sad about Atul’s death but they did nothing wrong. They promised to show evidence to prove this soon. The case has started a big discussion about how laws meant to protect women can sometimes be misused, affecting men like Atul.
