The leader minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma, inaugurated the country’s biggest Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana in the Naharkatia place of Dibrugarh. It is also referred under the development projects of India. 

Among the key tasks mentioned had been a new housing colony under PM Awas Yojana in Naharkatia, a contemporary conference centre in Lakhimpur, and the provision of ambulances are planned to set. Assam CM Inaugurate the PM Gramin Awas Yojana

Taking to X on Wednesday, CM Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote,” Today’s #VikasYatra has done over Rs1,600 crore of development efforts across Assam.

In terms of a new housing colony under scheme, the other projects are also soon to be inaugurated.”

The CM released Rs745 crores of developmental tasks in Dibrugarh and inaugurated 46 projects in Lakhimpur worth Rs807 crores on Wednesday as a part of the Vikas Yatra, according to records shared by CM Himanta Biswa Sarma on X.

What Assam CM speaks on Vikas Yatra 

Earlier, on Tuesday, the Assam Chief Minister said that, under the Vikas Yatra, the state authorities have lined up the inauguration and launch of initiatives well worth Rs 23,000 crore across the state.

During the participation in Vikas Yatra across the country, CM announced to attend Rally in Lower Assam on that day. Projects worth an aggregate of Rs 154 crore for the Bajali district have been inaugurated, and the foundation stones have been laid by the Chief Minister. Speaking at the event, CM Sarma exuded self-assurance that the initiatives inaugurated and the foundation stones laid have the capacity to fulfil the hopes and aspirations of the citizens of the Bajali district.

CM Planned to inaugurate other development projects 

Earlier, the CM of Assam inaugurated and laid the project’s tasks. As part of Vika Yatra, CM is set to inaugurate the many development projects worth in crores.

On Tuesday, the Chief Minister announced a complete lineup of projects valued at Rs 23,000 crore to be inaugurated throughout the state.

Continuing his energetic participation in Vikas Yatras, CM Sarma attended a rally in Bajali, Lower Assam, inaugurating projects worth Rs 154 crore for the district. Expressing self-belief in the transformative impact of those initiatives, the Chief Minister emphasized their potential to meet the hopes and aspirations of Bajali district residents.

Previously, he had inaugurated tasks totalling Rs 171 crore in Bongaigaon. The Vikas Yatra remains a pivotal initiative driving comprehensive improvement and uplifting various regions in Assam.
