Date:

Lucknow: Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav reached Gosainganj to meet the family of the deceased woman inspector. During this, The SP chief said that questions have been raised about the police at many places. The government is using the police as a political tool. Political work is being taken from the police. In the state elections also, it was the responsibility of the police to make the government win the elections. Those who came to the government in the name of law and order, should answer how 5 members of the same family were killed.

Akhilesh Yadav tweeted that the way a woman sub-inspector of backward caste in Amethi was forced to commit suicide after caste mental harassment by police officers of the so-called dominant caste is a very sad and condemnable incident. The court should take immediate cognizance and suspend the culprits and set up an inquiry.

At the same time, about Azam Khan, he said that Azam is the senior leader of the party, and SP will help him legally. The injustice done to them has been done by the BJP party. The BJP party deliberately went there with such officers, so that injustice could be done on them and false cases could be brought against them.

Azam Khan’s displeasure is clearly visible, because Ravidas Mehrotra, SP MLA from Lucknow, along with some of his other leaders reached Sitapur jail to persuade Azam Khan, but Azam Khan refused to meet him despite all the efforts. Two days ago, Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party leader Shivpal Singh Yadav had met Azam Khan in this jail.

According to media reports, Shivpal Singh Yadav and Azam Khan may join BJP, as Shivpal Singh had met CM Yogi Adityanath in the past. However, till now both the leaders have not issued any statement regarding joining BJP.
