Lucknow: After the recent attack on Gorakhpur’s Gorakhnath temple, the political temperature in state is on the boil. On one hand, the UP Police is interrogating the accused Ahmed Murtaza Abbasi. At the same time, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav quoted the father of the accused as saying that he is suffering from mental illness, so we need to pay attention to him as well. Countering this, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya said that the SP chief is sympathetic to the terrorists.

KP Maurya said that SP has some old ties and inclination with the terrorists. that’s why the Akhilesh govt withdrew cases of the 2013 UP terror attacks.
SP chief Akhilesh Yadav had said about the police and govt must consider his mental illness since his father has said that he was mentally sick and getting treatment. He also added that BJP is the party that exaggerates the matter for political gains.
The accused Ahmed Murtaza Abbasi had done chemical engineering from IIT Mumbai but he was arrested on 3 April, since attacked two soldiers engaged in the security of Gorakhnath temple after that he was in judicial custody till 11th April.

Keshav Maurya, who reached his home in Sirathu, Kaushambi, for the first time after taking oath as the Deputy CM, has spoken about the rising inflation menace. he said that inflation is certainly a big problem but both the governments at the centre and state are working together to overcome this. He said oil is also a contributor to inflation.
