Volvo Car India has donated Rs 75 lakh to the PM CARES Fund for COVID-19 relief efforts as part of its CSR initiative. Furthermore, the Swedish automaker provided financial support for all of its dealership staff’s term insurance and treatment if employees or family members contracted COVID.
During the epidemic, the firm launched a contactless initiative that made it easier to acquire automobiles in a secure and contactless manner, with delivery following all social distancing requirements.

Volvo Car India’s Managing Director, Jyoti Malhotra, stated, “Volvo Car India places a high value on safety and care, which is evident in both our product offers and our people-centered practises. We are certain that our gift will provide some relief to individuals whose lives are impacted by the PM CARES Fund.”
Volvo owners may also book auto servicing at their favourite Volvo dealership location via the digital initiative. Since resuming operations after the shutdown, the firm has said that providing safety and care against the pandemic has been its top priority.

A vaccination drive encompassing the entire staff of the company’s dealer network was conducted as part of the company’s internal covid related activities. While the firm guaranteed that its employees were vaccinated, the same guarantee was extended to their wives, children, and parents who were also entitled to receive the vaccine.
