Gonda: A six-year-old child of Uttar Pradesh’s Gonda Kidnap has been discovered by the UP Police in 17 hours. Four people including a woman accused have been arrested in the child kidnapping case. The four accused have been arrested after a late night encounter between the STF, police and kidnappers. The arrested woman had demanded a ransom of Rs 4 crore. The child has been recovered from Kidnappers. Police is questioning the accused.
ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar said that four accused Suraj Pandey, Chitra Pandey, Raj Pandey, and Umesh Yadav have been arrested in this case.
On Friday (July 24), the 6-year-old son of a bidi businessman in Gonda was kidnapped by miscreants. Kidnappers had pretended to give sanitizers and masks in front of the child. After Kidnapping, Kidnappers made a phone call to the child’s father and demanded a ransom of Rs 4 crore.
Kidnappers also threatened the child’s father that he would kill the child even if it was reported to the police by mistake. But the family of the child immediately reported the matter to the police. The child was carried by Kidnap miscreants near the cart market in Colonelganj Kotwali area.
UP Police and UP STF alert immediately after the complaint. All the boundaries of Gonda district were sealed. The UP border was also alerted. So that the kidnappers cannot run away with the child. A few hours after the kidnapping incident, the UP police has resolved the matter.
ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar said, the encounter took place on this morning (July 25) on the information of the informer in Para village. The kidnappers wanted to take the child elsewhere by car. Two crooks have been injured in police action. A pistol and 2 pistols have been recovered from the miscreants.
