New Delhi: Two CRPF personnel have died after being shot in Government Kothi No. 61 in Lodhi Estate of Tughlaq Road area of Delhi. It is being told that at around 10.30 pm on Friday night, the police of Tughlaq Road police station received information that several rounds of firing have taken place in the 61 number Kothi of Lodhi State. The police reached the spot immediately after receiving this news. Going there, saw that an Inspector and Sub-Inspector of CRPF were lying on the ground and they were shot. Both of them had died. According to the information, CRPF Sub Inspector Karnail Singh shot Inspector Dashrath Singh and then the Sub Inspector also committed suicide by shooting himself.
Please tell that 61 Lodhi Estate Bungalow is allotted to Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). The sub-inspector shot the inspector while the inspector was eating food in his room. SI then shot himself near the guard room at the entrance gate of the bungalow. The Sub Inspector is a resident of Jammu and Kashmir and the Inspector is from Haryana.
According to the information received, both number 61 lived in Lodhi Estate Kothi. So far it has not been clear why the bullet was shot. No eyewitnesses have been found about this incident so far. Both were stationed in 122 battalions of CRPF.
