Kolkata: The West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) recruitment scam took a new turn on Monday when the sleuth of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested vice-chancellor of the University of North Bengal Subiresh Bhattacharya in connection with the case, official sources said.

Nearly nine people have been arrested in connection with the incident, but Bhattacharya is the first vice-chancellor who has fallen into the CBI trap.
