Indian citizens will be brought from 31 countries by 149 flights
New Delhi: The second phase of the Vande Bharat Mission will be launched from May 16 to bring back the Indian citizens stranded abroad amidst the havoc of the Corona virus, which will run till May 22. During this period, 149 flights, including feeder flights, will be deployed to bring back Indian citizens from 31 countries.
Let us know that the first phase of the Vande Bharat Mission started on 7 May. Initiating this, Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said, “Air India will operate 64 flights between May 7 and May 13 to bring back about 15,000 Indian nationals stranded overseas amid lockdown.
Second phase:
US, UAE, Canada, Saudi Arabia, UK, Malaysia, Oman, Kazakhstan, Australia, Ukraine, Qatar, Indonesia, Russia, Philippines, France, Singapore, Ireland, Kyrgyzstan, Kuwait, Japan, Georgia, Germany, Tajikistan, Bahrain, Armenia Indian citizens will be brought back from Thailand, Italy, Nepal, Belarus, Nigeria, Bangladesh.
