Mhow (MP): A television repair shop owner was shot dead in Mhow district of Madhya Pradesh on Monday, the police said. A retired army man shot the shop owner dead after an altercation. According to reports, the army man JB Singh shot four rounds and two hit the shop owner Nilesh Agarwal who was sent to a hospital where he died.

Additional superintendent of police in Mhow Shashikant Kankane said that Ahirwar had given his television set to Agarwal for repair nearly two months ago and visited the shop several times get his TV set back, but Agarwal did not pay any attention to his requests.

Both Agarwal and Parihar had an altercation over the phone on Monday afternoon. Immediately after the heated exchange, an infuriated Parihar reached the TV repairing shop and shot at Agarwal four times from his licensed gun that he had carried to the shop. Two bullets hit Agarwal. One of the bullets pierced through one of his eyes. Agarwal died in a nearby shop. Parihar, who surrendered at the office of the ASP was charged with murder, Kankane said.
